A Taste of Sung Dynasty in Lai Yuen

When I was young, my parents would take me to visit Sung City in Lai Yuen Amusement Park to experience the ambiance of Lunar Chinese New Year. Unfortunately, both places officially closed in March 1997. I remember the sound of the bell on the electric boat ride at the amusement park, and the train track that surrounded Lai Yuen, which was equally amazing. In Sung City, there were many pavilions with theaters that featured various acrobatic and music performances, as well as games. People laughed and clapped their hands here. Although it has all gone away, I feel that an evergreen tree will always be in my heart.This artwork has been selected by ITSLiquid Group to exhibit in Rome International Art Fair 2023.

在荔園那宋代的味道

記得童年，每當農曆新年父母親必帶去遊覽宋城，去感受過年氣氛。或許，因為娛樂模式慢慢的在改變，荔園及宋城一併在1997年3月宣布停業，現今已被埋在高樓大廈之下。回想起荔園叮叮船那隱約的模樣，每條船隻前都有一個鐘擺，兒童在船上都可以擺動它發出清脆悅耳的叮叮聲。

另一邊，也有一個圍繞著荔園的火車軌，不時會見到火車經過，也有香口膠的擺位遊戲，現在看來平平無奇的東西，在小時候卻是多麼的有趣。給香港人很多歡樂的大象和宋城的城門彷彿在一起，宋城內有很多亭台樓閣，有半露天劇場，那裡有各種雜技表演項目，有音樂表演，有遊戲，這裡，人們笑聲不斷，拍手叫好。

它，是我通向古代的起點，但相信這裡不是我最終的目的地。

它，在人們的記憶會慢慢消失，但曾經的那些記憶猶在。

它，伴隨著我的成長。

而它，又像一夥小樹，長存在我心中，現在已經長大了，成為了一夥大樹，感覺這夥長青樹，在我的心裡，一直在心中。
