“Since the winter solstice, the capital of the Song dynasty had begun constructing a mountain shed in front of the palace, with the standing tree facing the Xuande Gate Tower. During the Lantern Festival, tourists flocked to the area, and Royal Street was bustling. Various performances, including thaumaturgy, singing, and dancing, took place under the corridors on both sides of the street, with the stalls of each family situated close together.
