Today, Ivan attended a cultural and art expo as the Artivive local advocate for the Hong Kong region and gave a speech. In Europe, Artivive’s CEO also spoke on a large screen and introduced Artivive and Ivan’s exhibit at the Hong Kong Art Expo to the audience.

During the one-hour speech, Ivan not only explained the latest features of AR technology but also introduced one of his AR works that was nominated at the expo. He shared his experiences and artistic explorations from the UK to Australia and back to Hong Kong with the guests. Among them, he mentioned three things that he felt fortunate about. The first was his teachers who had supported and cultivated him all along. The second was when he started to explore AR technology while studying computer science at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2016, which ignited his interest in these fascinating virtual and real technologies. The third was Artivive, which made him discover that his interest in design could also be applied to his artistic creations, further fueling his passion for creating. Therefore, he was very grateful to Artivive, his teachers, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for empowering him.

Towards the end of the speech, he also introduced his self-developed AR app “The Flowing River of Song” and a specially designed Web AR software developed for a Hanfu Society booth specifically for this expo to the audience. The most valuable thing was the time he spent exchanging ideas with the audience, where he collected some precious insights and deeply felt everyone’s attention to the current situation of the Hong Kong art scene and these technologies.
